We recently introduced a very special program where you can “Sponsor a Family”, choose a family profile from our website, and commit to a monthly donation for their particular needs and follow their journey, getting to know them and watch your support bless their lives!

Breath Of Life Ministry is a passion project that was formed in 2020 by Michele Avila to help the impoverished families in Playa del Carmen (especially single mothers) who have needed help due to uncontrollable circumstances in their critical time of need. At first they bought groceries with personal money they could spare, but during the pandemic, more people came for help with no way to feed their children, and they had to start raising money to help cover the needs of the community.

The Breath of Life Ministry has now grown to provide bi-weekly grocery distributions to families in critical need, a weekly women's support group, teaching life and business skills, providing emotional and domestic violence support, weekly Sunday School for children, teaching Christian values and social skills, back to school support, emergency medical support, and Holiday Celebrations and Gift Giveaways for the children.

We are looking for any restaurants willing to donate any amount of refreshments, and paper & plastic ware, for our two Christmas Celebrations. (Dec.21 and Jan 4).
